About

Wouter van der Pol is a global marketing executive, brand strategy consultant and transformation leader with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling and elevating premium fashion and lifestyle brands. A trusted partner to founders and C-suite leaders, he has often operated as both a functional executive and an enterprise adviser, connecting leadership priorities across brand, business and organization. He pairs creative instinct with operational discipline and has built a reputation as an entrepreneur within an established structure: someone who can rebuild, reposition and reinvent while keeping a global organization moving forward. Whether the mandate is to reignite a brand that has lost momentum or prepare an established business for its next stage of growth, Wouter brings the strategic perspective, executional rigor and executive judgment required to guide complex organizations into their next chapter.

Today, Wouter advises brands, founders, and investors on brand strategy, marketing transformation, and organizational effectiveness. His consulting work ranges from revitalizing heritage brands and integrating new capabilities following acquisitions to modernizing marketing organizations and leading enterprise-wide transformations. He is particularly energized by opportunities where creativity, strategy, and operations intersect—bringing the vision, discipline, and executive judgment required to move complex organizations forward and into their next stage of growth.

Wouter’s career was shaped by more than two decades at Tommy Hilfiger, where he helped steward its evolution from a $450 million European licensing business to a $4 billion global brand under PVH Corp. As Senior Vice President of Global Brand Marketing, he led an organization of approximately 150 professionals, directed more than $100 million in annual marketing investment, and worked closely with founder Tommy Hilfiger to translate creative vision into operational reality at scale. Beyond his functional leadership, Wouter served as a close strategic partner to the founder and senior leadership team, helping align priorities, connect decisions across the organization and move complex initiatives from vision to execution. He designed integrated planning processes that increased sales in key categories by 15% and reduced content production costs by 30% through process optimization and digital innovation. He also established the Tommy Hilfiger Marketing Academy to develop marketing talent across the business.

Across more than 50 fully integrated global campaigns, he led partnerships with Lewis Hamilton, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and others across fashion, music, entertainment, and sport—connecting the brand with new generations of consumers worldwide. Wouter’s remit also included the oversight of PVH Studios, an integrated content and production capability supporting Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and the PVH corporate brand. He advised on content operations for the company’s digital showroom, helping connect creative development with the systems and processes required to deliver content at scale.

Wouter leads with candor, pragmatism and optimism. He builds trust across cultures and disciplines and forges the human connections that enable teams to navigate complexity and embrace change together. He holds a degree in International Fashion Management from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and completed an exchange year at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Based in Amsterdam with his wife and two daughters, Wouter is an avid cook, passionate gardener, and enthusiastic traveler.
